Used to grade Graphic Organizers and Compare & Contrast the Platforms of Presidential Candidates

Students were required to select a short story from the 10th grade text and analyze it for the standard features of plot. (Exposition - Rising Action - Climax - Falling Action - Conclusion)

Tell a story with a clear beginning, middle and end.

Students will use Twitter format to summarize the Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. Twitter Post- in 140 characters or less

Stations of the Cross created in Storyboardthat.com. Title and name on top portion. Each station represented and described in a dialogue format. Storyboard printed and mounted on construction paper or oak tag.

Students create a plot diagram from the event of the story. For each cell, tey have to create a scene that follows the book in sequence using: Exposition, Conflict, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Resolution.

This rubric is designed to allow students to offer their evaluation of on-line digital poems. They may be asked to use their evaluation and their understanding of the criteria to create their own digital poem or as a group to compile a rating list of a number of digital poems found on the internet, and come to some criteria-based generalizations about that elements make for a meaningful, engaging, and interactive digital poem.

Students create a digital story around one of the characters from "The Westing Game." They take on the role of the character and supply information about the character, their role in the game, and researched information about their chosen career.

This is a final project done in Windows MovieMaker after reading "The City of Ember" by Jeanne duPrau

Each sentence must have the simple subject and simple predicate highlighted.
