Shoot 5 shots using correct form

This is the most important shot. The most important thing is the weight transfer. The weight transfer is like a lot of other sports such as baseball and golf. Your weight will transfer from your back to your front leg. Stand perpendicular to your target with your stick cupped on the puck and the puck behind your back foot. Transfer your weight as you move the puck forward, and follow through. When you finish your follow through, your stick should be pointing towards your target at around your waist.

Students will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball, to include dribbling with both hands in a controlled manor looking straight ahead in a rhythm, shooting with proper follow-through, rotation of ball, and hand placement on ball, passing to include the proper mechanics of the two handed chest pass

Applying and Performing - i,ii Students will demonstrate and apply the skills and techniques necessary to successfully pass a basketball to a teammate using a bounce pass, chest pass or overhead pass.

Working in groups of three - player, feeder and observer. The feeder "Feeds" or throws the ball to the player using an underhand toss. Player bumps the ball abck to the feeder five times. The observer offers feedback to the player by comparing the performance (the bump) to the criteria listed below.
