Students will watch a short video and write a one page essay on how theatre can be an instrument of social change on a local and global stage.

Duet Acting Scenes Demonstrate proficiency in character development through physical and vocal techniques and character analysis.

The Creation and telling of an epic tale with student created characters. This project is based in the ideas of teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and social responsibility.

Show proficiency with the basic usage of hardware and equipment associated to various technical theatre areas in a safe manner while being able to correctly identify and utilize technical theatre terminology.

Students will watch a live performance and write a 2 page review and include a selfie with an actor Identify the major stages of development in various dramatic forms in Western and Eastern cultures.

1. Break class into small groups 2. Pick a simple event (i.e. sun rising, airplane flying, etc.) 3. Meet in their groups for about 15-20 minutes 4. Create an oral presentation of the event using only prehistoric descriptives. 5. Words such as airplane cannot be used, as those would be considered modern descriptors. 6. Use physical representational gestures to indicate what you are speaking about. Indicate to the sky when talking about the sky, etc.
