Used to evaluate sewing projects

The students will work with a partner to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Digital Project

The students will work on their own to put together a poster or pamphlet for display. The poster/pamphlet will contain relevant information directly related to birthing options. Students will provide accurate information in a creative and colorful poster/pictures. The pamphlet will be designed on a standard size sheet of paper or electronically.

Health Guest Speakers

This rubric will measure the abilities of students to thread a sewing machine and bobbin, use the sewing machine properly and complete a sewing project by hand stitching using a backstitch.

Students must correctly sew felt ornament and demonstrate the running stitch, overcast stitch or blanket stitch, and back stitch.
