Rubric to evaluate 3rd Grade unit reflection journals.

This rubric will be used to score student journal reflections at the end of the unit. Students will select one project or activity from the unit and write about their experiences in a one page journal entry. The entry should include a short description of the lesson, three things they learned from the lesson, and why they chose that project or activity in particular.

This project requires students to do a current self-assessment of their overall health, including their physical, mental/emotional, and social health. Taking their current health status into consideration, students will critique their triangle and note where improvements can be made to create a healthy balance. This guide should reflect the Health Triangle and include goals, plans, and reflections for the future on those plans. This assignment should include a written, in essay form, portion as well as a "triangle" visual. The visual should represent YOU, it may have words, pictures, etc to demonstrate your health. Write weekly refelctions in your journal on the development of your knowledge within the unit. Write a reflection at the end of your podcast presentation about your involvement in the project and how you feel the presentation went.
