Compare/Contrast Essay: Book to movie

The purpose of this rubric is to allow the younger student to know what the expectations are for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. The student will compare and contrast the book Sign of the Beaver to the movie version titled Keeping the Promise. In preparation for this assignment, the student will have had instruction in the writing process, sentence structure, capitalization, end marks and vocabulary. In addition, the students worked through compare and contrast assignments.
