AASUCareBiLL Fundraiser

Seema's practium paper

Whenever I heard about leader, my reaction was someone having great experience in the big corporation or an older person.  As for now after doing this project and taking control of my life, I considered that I can be a leader.  You do not need a great experience to be a leader.  Some people are born with it and some are not.  In this situation, anyone can say that I was not born with it.  As I was going along and trying to understand the concept of what true leader mean.  Leaders are parents, teachers, ordinary people taking time to help others to achieve higher standards.  They exhibit enthusiastic behavior toward life, always smiling, fun to be around, never putting others down, always at the center of a crowed.  So when I started working for Care Bill project, I was thrilled for I know that I can interact with patient and try to give them best care as possible.
I am very happy to be partner with Norah for this project.  At first, it did not even cross my mind to do this Care Bill project, but after talking to Norah, I knew I made a right decision choosing her as a partner.  I could not ask a better person to work with.  We are both very hard working and committed to accomplish what needed to be done.
As soon as I told Norah about a Care Bill project, she did not even think twice to tell me that she wanted the same thing.  This told me that we both care about what happens to the patient.  That means supporting the Care Bill by raising money, then absolutely we would do it.  Before we joined this program, we did not know anything about This Bill.  As we got more information about it, the more excited we got.
For fundraising we decided to bake brownies and cookies and set up a stand at Memorial Hospital's cafeteria.  The idea to set up a booth came from the clinical preceptors and other nuclear medicine technologists.  This gave us the chance to pass out brochure which was created by Elizabeth and Ewelina about Care Bill awareness.
