Running Stitch	Excellent Hand sewing is done correctly. Stitches are correct length at 1/4" and straight.	Very Good Most of the stitches are the correct length at a 1/4 inch. Students are using the correct method but not straight.	Fair Stitches are too long or too short and did not measure 1/4 inch.	Needs Improvement The stitches are not the correct stitch. Very noticeable and did not measure at a 1/4 inch.

Safety	Excellent Student is practicing the safety rules in the sewing lab at all times.	Very Good Student is practicing the safety rules most of the time.	Fair Student is practicing safety rules a few times, and be reminded quite often.	Needs Improvement Student is NOT practicing the safety rules in the sewing lab.
