Self-Portrait using a Grid
Student will use a photo of themselves as reference to create a life like portrait. Portrait will be in Colored Pencil with a recognizable color scheme on marbled paper.

Transfer of Facial Features
Advanced
Transferred image from photo is exact and accurate. Finished portrait utilizes features from photo makes edits were necessary to leave marbled background exposed. All features are in correct proportion and are placed properly on the head.

Transferred image is close to original image. Most features are in correct proportion and are placed properly on the head. Marbled texture is somewhat effective.

Drawing is somewhat accurate but not duplicated exactly. Some facial features are not in proportion. Marbled paper was somewhat considered for the overall design.

Transferred drawing from small grid to large grid is inaccurate. Facial features are not in proportion to the size of the head. The features are placed incorrectly on the head. Marbled paper was not considered into the overall design.
