Tone	Excellent Pitches are well centered; properly projected and in tune. A desirable tone quality that is appropriate to the music being performed is produced throughout the performance.	Good Pitches are in tune and centered. A desirable tone quality is produced and projected for most of the piece.	Needs Improvement Some notes are out of tune. Pitches are occasionally not centered properly or projection is an issue. Tone quality is harsh.	Poor Many notes are out of tune and not centered. Tone quality is undesirable and tone is not projected.	Score
Rhythm	Excellent An appropriate tempo is picked for the piece. Rhythms are sung correctly and in a style that fits the piece.	Good An appropriate tempo is picked for the piece. A few rhythms are not performed correctly, but most are cleanly performed.	Needs Improvement The tempo is a bit fast or slow for the piece. Some rhythms are sung incorrectly.	Poor The tempo is not appropriate for the piece and many rhythms are played incorrectly.	Score
Posture	Excellent Student stands with correct posture; is professional in their conduct; introduces her/himself clearly and professionally before the piece and bows/acknowledges accompanist after the piece.
