Georgia O'Keeffe Abstract Flower using oil Pastels Georgia O'Keeffe Flower Pastel Drawing After studying Georgia O'Keeffe's flowers, the students zoomed into an interested place on their flower references. We did a small grid drawing labeling the shapes with their corresponding colors. The grid drawing was transferred on to larger paper and then colored with oil pastels. Color Use/Blending	1 Only 2-3 colors used, pale minimal blending.	2 Only 4-5 colors used and/ or some pale. Some blending of colors.	3 6+ colors used, thick vivid colors similar to photograph. Good use of blending.	4 8 + colors used, thick vivid colors similar to photograph. Lots of blending evident.
Neatness, Craftsmanship, Space	1 Neatness and craftsmanship need improvement. Too much white paper can still be seen.	2 Neatness and craftsmanship need improvement. Some white paper can be seen.	3 Neatness, Craftsmanship are good. Oil Pastels cover the whole paper.	4 Neatness, Craftsmanship are excellent and oil pastel cover the who paper.
Planning	1 Student did minimal pre-planning.	2 Student did pre-plan but only did a very quick non-detailed rough draft and minimal color planning.	3 Student completed a pre plan, researched subject manner, but colors were not planned well	4 Student researched subject matter, completed a rough draft and planned colors ahead of time.
