Character Trait Students demonstrate knowledge of character traits by creating a character with three positive traits and one negative trait. They will list 3 to 5 actions as evidence of the character trait. Rubric Code: WX7X3B6 By cdolan7 Draft Public Rubric Subject: Education Type: Assessment Grade Levels: 6-8

P.C. Actions/Evidence	Distinguish Student is able to list 5 actions that can be attributed to the specific character trait as evidence of the trait. Student is able to do this for each character trait.	Proficient Student is able to list at least 3 actions that can be attributed to the specific character trait as evidence of the trait. Student is able to do this for each character trait.	Basic Student is able to list at least 1 actions that can be attributed to the specific character trait as evidence of the trait. Student is able to do this for each character trait.
Negative Character Trait	Distinguish Student is able to identify 2 negative character traits correctly.	Proficient Student is able to identify at least 1 -2 negative character traits correctly.	Basic Student is able to identify at least 1 negative character traits correctly.
