Posting on your Weebly Blog Posting Comments on the Discussion Board This rubric will be used when we are posting to your website blog. You will be grading your blog comments based on this rubric. This is the same rubric I will be using. You will go through and grade your posts. After you have already graded your posts if you would like to correct anything that would be fine. 	Poor You missed the criteria. 1 pts	Almost Some of the criteria were missing. 2 pts	Good You hit the criteria. 3 pts
Summarized Have you summarized the article so a reader will get a good understanding of what it was about without having to read it themselves.	Poor You forgot to summarize and went into your opinion.	Almost Summarized a little of the article but it wasn't a full summary. Some vital information was missing.	Good You summarized so your reader was able to understand what the article was about without having to read the entire article.
Content Have you written so the audience knows the topic of discussion or your opinion of the topic or opinion.	Poor Audience can't really tell what you are talking about or what your opinion was. The post could apply to other topics and isn't specific to the topic or article being discussed.	Almost Audience can tell what the topic or article is about however, you didn't back up your opinion. Your opinion was vague.	Good Written so the audience could tell what your opinion about the topic or article was and you were able to back it up.
Picture Each blog entry needs a picture.	Poor Didn't include a picture.	Almost Included a picture however, didn't document where the picture was from.	Good Included a Creative Common (CC) picture and included where the picture was taken from.
Link Each blog entry needs to have a link to the article.	Poor Didn't include a link back to the article.	Almost Not graded	Good Linked to the article.
Correct Spelling Each entry needs to have correct spelling. If you aren't a good speller complete in Word first and copy and paste to the post.	Poor Two or more misspelled words.	Almost One misspelled word.	Good No misspellings.
Correct Punctuation Each sentence needs to begin with a capital and end with a form of punctuation.	Poor Lacking one or more punctuation marks.	Almost Not graded	Good Has all the proper punctuation.
