Excellent workmanship throughout. Project has consistent rug hooking, few mistakes, tight stitches, and blocks and rows well matched. Material trimmed correctly. Reverse side is very neat in appearance.

Project exhibits moderately good workmanship. Some mistakes are evident in matching. Loops are not all consistent, rug hooking may be missing in spots. Reverse side mostly neat in appearance.

Rug hooking is neat on reverse side. No crossing over. Wool material is even and is done correctly. Wool is flat and even.

Rug hooking is acceptable. May be somewhat uneven. Some bunching may be evident. No crossing over evident.

Backside has messy appearance. Stitches are too long or too wide, uneven. One or more areas of crossing over of wool.
