Oral Presentation
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Preparedness	Excellent Student is completely prepared and obviously rehearsed.	Good Student seems prepared, may have needed a couple more rehearsals. Recall of the entire memorization.	Fair Student seems somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Poor Student does not seem at all prepared for the memorization presentation, cannot recall most of the memorization.
Eye Contact & Posture	Excellent Student maintains eye contact with the audience or speaker faces them. Stands up straight, looks relaxed and confident.	Good Student maintains eye contact most of the time. Stands up straight.	Fair Student maintains some eye contact. Sometimes stands up straight.	Poor No eye contact is maintained. Slouches - very poor posture.
Fluency	Excellent Spoke fluently, without hesitation or repetition.	Good Spoke somewhat fluently with some hesitation or repetition. Has a pause of less than five seconds.	Fair Lacking fluency - spoke with too much hesitation or repetition. Has a long pause or two pauses.	Poor Unacceptable level of fluency- numerous hesitations and repetitions. Too many pauses or prompts needed.
Pronunciation	Excellent Speaks clearly and distinctly all (95% - 100%) of the time, and does not mispronounce any of the words.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly (95% - 100%) of the time, but mispronounces NO more than one word.	Fair Speaks clearly and distinctly most (85%- 94%) of the time but mispronounces MORE than one word.	Poor Often mumbles or cannot be understood OR mispronounces TWO or more words.
Speaker's volume	Excellent Volume is loud enough to be heard by all audience members during the presentation	Good Volume is loud enough to be heard by all audience members at least 90% of the time.	Fair Volume is loud enough to be heard by all audience members about 50% of the time, or less.	Poor Volume is often too soft to be heard by all audience members.
