Explanation	Poor The student does not successfully describe the picture.	Fair The student describes the picture with minimal details.	Good The student describes their picture with many details.
3 facts	Poor The student gives 1 or no facts about their chosen explorer and his journey.	Fair The student give 2 facts about their chosen explorer and his journey.	Good The student gives at least three facts about their chosen explorer and his journeys.
