Note Accuracy 20 pts	1 4 Music has many pitch errors. Attention needed on fingerings and/or partials.	2 8 Several errors occur. Most of the intonation is incorrect and there are many wrong notes.	3 12 Occasional note is missed, due to key signature, shift or accidental. Basic Tonality can be heard.	4 16 Few notes are missed. Mistakes do not detract from music. Most of the intonation is correct and there are no wrong notes.	5 20 Excellent accuracy. No mistakes were made, therefore music was performed as written.
Rhythm 20 pts	1 4 No sense of pulse. Rhythms are incorrect. Unable to show basic understanding of Relationships between different Rhythms.	2 8 Inconsistant pulse. Most rhythms are incorrect.	3 12 Basic sense of pulse. Some rhythms are incorrect.	4 16 Secure pulse with minor rhythmic problems	5 20 Strong sense of pulse. All rhythms performed accurately

Posture 10 pts	1 1 Poor Posture. The students did not sit up straight in their chair with their back off of the seat. The student's feet were not on the floor.	2	3 5 Good posture is not shown fully. The student is not always sitting up straight, or only has 2 of the three elements. (back off of the seat, feet flat on the floor, sitting up straight)	4	5 10 Posture is excellent, the student displayed all three elements of good posture.
