Reading: *Reading speed	Poor Needs more than 30 seconds to read one line.	Fair Has the ability to read one line in less than 25 seconds.	Good Has the ability to read one line in less than 15 seconds.	Excellent Has the ability to read one line in less than 10 seconds.
Reading: *Help from the teacher needed during Reading	Poor The teacher has to read word by word and they repeat at all times.	Fair Sometimes needs a little bit of help with more than 1 or 2 words.	Good Doesn’t need help reading but makes 1 or 2 mistakes.	Excellent Capable of reading alone without mistakes or difficulties.

Good Capable of understanding most of the new vocabulary and leaves knowing the meaning of 2 or 3 words from the lesson.	Excellent Fully capable of understanding the new vocabulary and leaves class knowing the meaning of most of the words.
Understanding: *The difference between "هي" and "هو", "هذا" and "هذه"	Poor Doesn’t know the difference between them	Fair Understands the difference but doesn’t know how to change the word to suit the beginning of the sentence when asked to write it down.	Good Fully understands the difference but has a little confusion when asked to change a word using a different beginning during writing.
