Planning	Poor Students did not plan well. They did not complete the planning worksheet before working on their optical illusion. Students failed to follow a plan for completing their optical illusion.	Fair Students created a plan. Some thought was put into their plan; however, they did not follow their plan in creating their optical illusion or they failed to modify their plan as needed.	Good Students put a lot of thought into their plan for making their optical illusion. Students followed their plan and modified it as needed to produce an optical illusion.
Team Work	Poor Students did not work well together. There was very little discussion or group cooperation.	Fair Students mostly worked well together, but some of the students did not participate as much as others did.	Good Students worked well together, developing an optical illusion. All students participated in the discussion and development of the optical illusion.
Optical Illusion	Poor Students did not create an original design for their optical illusion. The optical illusion did not challenge the viewer.	Fair Students created an optical illusion based on one they have seen before, but made modifications to the design. The optical illusion challenged the viewer.	Good Students created an original optical illusion that challenged the viewer to "see" it.
