Good Speaks clearly using formal language, emotion, excitement, and pauses when needed.	Fair Speaks using some slang. Uses monotone voice. Uses little emotion or excitement	Poor Speaks quietly. Uses a lot of slang. Does not use emotion or excitement. Monotone voice.
Participate 0101.2.8 Participate in group discussion. • Ask and respond to questions from teacher and other group members.	Good Is able to answer questions from the class about the story in content with the story.	Fair Answers questions with some degree of accuracy in content with the story.	Poor Cannot answer questions about the story.
Retell your story 0101.2.9 Retell a story, describing the plot, characters, and setting.	Good Is able to explain the plot, the different characters, and the setting of the story.	Fair Is able to explain some of the plot. Kows about some of the characters. Describes part of the story.	Poor Does not give an accurate account of the plot. Does not explain the characters.
