Class Yearbook Project Mini-Yearbook A yearbook, or annual, is frequently used to record, commemorate, and highlight a school year. At most institutions, student teams publish yearbooks. Some countries and organizations also publish yearbooks as annual summary reports. In this project, students will develop and create a yearbook. The students create templates and create reusable graphics and illustrations to implement thematic and design consistency throughout the yearbook. Yearbook – Content Theme, Layouts, Photos, Graphics.	Poor Absent, incomplete, or unfocused.	Fair There are at 2 distinct layouts that have headers, captions and page numbers.	Good Graphics are built from scratch. Photos are taken by the designer and not taken from the internet. Must be at least one page of head shots and one page of other activities.	Excellent There is a clear theme to the mini-yearbook and has at least 10 pages.
Effort/Preseverance Effort was made to bring project to completion.	Poor The student did not put forth effort in completeing the assignment and showed below avereage crafstmanship.	Fair The student finished the project, but could have been improved with more effort.The assignment showed adequate craftsmanship.	Good The student worked diligently with considerable effort to complete the art work. The assignment showed a fair amount of craftsmanship.	Excellent The student worked with consistent effort to complete the art work. The assignment shows a high degree of craftsmanship.
Craftsmanship Atttention to detail; neatness.	Poor Little or no effort. Looks poorly designed with little attention to detail.	Fair Adequate attention to detail and neatness.	Good Very well done, with much attention to detail.	Excellent Exceptionally designed with extreme attention to detail.
