Lamp Project Lamp Project Final Using the Lathe students are to plan out and decide what shape they would like to make the wood piece for their lamp. Plan Following	Poor Plan was only glanced at and not used as a guide for project.	Fair Plan was used for construction of project but was not followed step by step.	Good Plan was used for construction of project and was thoroughly followed during construction.
Project Appearance	Poor Finished project looked sloppy. Not much care put into finishing work (I.E. sanding, painting, etc.)	Fair Finished project looked fair. Room for improvement was seen in paint, sanding, etc.	Good Finished project looked excellent and rounded out. Decoration and construction looked very desirable.
Time spent on project	Poor No time was spent constructing project.	Fair Some time was spent constructing project.	Good Extra time was spent on project to ensure a desirable outcome.
Practicality and ease of use	Poor Project was not practical and as such was hard to use	Fair Project was practical but hard to use.	Good Project was practical and had ease of use
Creativity of project	Poor Project showed no signs of creative planning.	Fair Project was creative in decoration but not design.	Good Project was creative in design and decoartion.
Sanding	Poor Why do you have to sand? It looks perfect just the way it is!	Fair Project only made it as far as 150-220 grit sandpaper.	Good Project was smooth as a babies bottom. Used 600 grit to complete.
Wiring	Poor Why do I have to wire it. It looks perfect just the way is. is.	Fair Project had not been drilled properly and the wiring was off to the side.	Good Wiring was done well and the project wiring was centered.
