Vocabulary Parade
	Exemplary 4 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Developing 2 pts
Content	Exemplary Students demonstrated mastery of assigned vocabulary words including: definition, uses, examples, and subcategories where appropriate.	Proficient Students demonstrated proficient knowledge of the assigned vocabulary words, providing examples and explaining uses.	Developing Students demonstrated an incomplete knowledge of the assigned assigned vocabulary words and lacked examples and/or uses, or gave erroneous information.
Presentation Skills and Visual	Exemplary Students were well-rehearsed, used clear speaking voices and eye contact, creatively engaged the audience, allowed time for note-taking, and presented the materials with confidence in their knowledge. Visuals were clear, neat, and complete, providing an effective visual reminder for the class.	Proficient Students displayed some signs of rehearsal, spoke clearly most of the time, and presented the material with some signs of confidence in their knowledge. Visuals lacked one of the following: clarity, neatness, completeness.	Developing Students demonstrated little rehearsal or confidence in their knowledge, giving a perfunctory presentation. Visuals lacked two of the following: clarity, neatness, completeness.
Game	Exemplary Students presented a creative game which effectively reinforced the material presented. The activity was well-organized and involved movement.	Proficient Students presented a game involving their assigned vocabulary words. Game was static and/or lacked organization/ leadership.	Developing Students presented a game which involved minimal involvement for players and/or student leaders, lacking organization and creativity.
Reflection	Exemplary Student wrote a meaningful reflection of their learning experience, explaining why the project was beneficial for them.	Proficient Student wrote a short reflection of their learning experience, explaining why it was beneficial for them.	Developing Student wrote a reflection which did not demonstrate any contemplation of their learning experience.
