	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Hand positions	Poor Student shows no apparent knowledge of hand position	Fair Student makes attempt at times to have proper hand positions but most of the time is incorrect. Strings are often muted.	Good Student shows knowledge of hand positions but sometimes misses proper placement. Sometimes strings are muted.	Excellent Student always keeps hands in proper places. No extra strings are muted on accident.
Strum Consistency	Poor Student must stop after almost every note or chord.	Fair Student shows that they are aware of a rhythm but cannot continue to maintain it.	Good Student keeps mostly consistent but has a few stops.	Excellent Student plays without stopping.
Musical Integrity	Poor Student plays almost every note incorrectly.	Fair Student plays some notes correctly, but misses most.	Good Student plays most of the notes and chords correctly.	Excellent Student plays entire piece correctly.
