Evidence or details are minimal.	Good The student has given detailed feelings towards the novel. Evidence and details are present, along with insight towards the novel.
Part C - author's biography	Poor The biography has minimal details and is copied directly from another source.	Fair The biography includes all of the components listed. The information is written with the student's own words. The biography is at least a half page in length.	Good The biography includes all of the components listed. The information is written with the student's own words. The biography is at least a half page in length. The student has added extra information about the author.
Quiz - basic components of the nove	Poor The student has identified the setting, plot, characters and theme. The information is minimal and lacking detail. The information is thorough and supported with details.

Levelled questions	Poor The questions were answered, but lacking evidence and detail. Minimal information is given.	Fair The questions were answered with detail and evidence. The questions are not missing any information necessary to understanding the novel.
