Creating Choreography Project - Elements of Dance 
Instructor assesses individual/partner efforts in producing an original choreography piece in which the elements of dance(body, space, energy, time-relationships) and sequencing are present in 16-24 counts of movement to a musical phrase.

Dancers have knowledge of 3 steps to creating choreography. They can keep together, and have a fairly good sense of timing & direction. Knowledge of locomotor/nonlocomotor is evident. 1-2 direction changes are used, and 2-3 elements of dance are evident.

Dancers are somewhat unprepared and unsure of the steps to creating choreography. There is some sense of timing or direction and dance element knowledge is in its beginning stages.
Needs improvement

Dancers are unprepared and unsure of the steps to create choreography. There is no sense of timing or direction and the elements of dance are not evident in oral explanation or performance.
