Value scales Objective is to try and obtain as smooth a gradation as possible.	Excellent Work Values progress in correct order from dark to light.	Meet Expectations 1-2 values out of sequence.	Needs Improvement 3 or more values out of sequence.
Silhouette	Excellent Work All lines for silhouette are well defined. Silhouette is extremely creative.	Meet Expectations All lines for silhouette are defined. Silhouette is creative.	Needs Improvement Silhouette lines are not well defined.
Craft Clean hard edge lines, no smudges,values are smooth solid value fills, can not see white paper through.	Excellent Work Student took the time to obtain near perfect craft.
