Each pin is edited as if it is picked by the main character.	Poor Student response has at least 15 pins. Each pin is edited as if it is picked by the main character.	Unacceptable Student response has fewer than 10 pins. Each pin is edited as if it is picked by the main character.
Supportying Evidence	Good Each pin has a justification for why it is an appropriate pin for that character. This means either quoting the text directly or paraphrasing something a character says or does.	Fair Most pins have a justification for why it is an appropriate pin for that character. This means either quoting the text directly or paraphrasing something a character says or does.	Poor Few pins have a justification for why it is an appropriate pin for that character. Justification may be flawed.	Unacceptable Little effort has been made to give reasons or justifications for choices made.
Conventions	Good Reading response is written with a consistent use of grade appropriate puctuation and capitalization.	Fair Grade appropriate punctuation and capitalization is usually demonstrated.
