Observational hand drawing 
Students will draw their hand from direct observation and apply drawing and shading techniques they have learned to render a final drawing that illustrates their understanding of drawing concepts we have studied in class.

Varied value range of darks, highlights, and mid tones, and all of the objects reflect the actual contour (shape). Uses shading to create edges and lines (vs. drawing them) – use eraser as a drawing tool both to create highlights, shapes, lines and, atmospheric perspective/spatial awareness.
