	Excellent 25 pts	Good 20 pts	Fair 15 pts	Poor 10 pts
Concept	Excellent Work is exciting and interesting in it's use of detail and variety. Color schemes were applied correctly throughout work and student created an interesting abstract composition overall.	Good Student created an interesting abstract viewfinder composition to use in their work. Student also demonstrated his knowledge of color schemes by using them throughout the project.	Fair Student created an abstract composition that meets all minimum requirements of a strong composition. Student attempted to use color schemes throughout work.	Poor No attempt has been made to paint in the style of the artist being studied.
Creativity	Excellent Student showed independent problem-solving and risk taking with the level of detail and difficulty of the work, specifically relating to the changes in their compositions throughout the work.	Good Student made interesting choices for changing his composition throughout the work following the guidelines provided.	Fair Student changed their compositions following guidelines provided but work shows very little variety.	Poor Students did not change compositions in any specific way or shows little variety or creative thinking throughout work.
Craftsmanship	Excellent Work is neat, complete and well done. Marker and color pencil techniques are executed well throughout the work.	Good Work is complete with only minor mistakes. Marker and color pencil techniques are showing progress.	Fair Work is complete but needs improvement in overall neatness. Student attempted to use marker and colored pencil techniques in work.	Poor Work is sloppy of messy and student used little or no marker or colored pencil techniques reviewed in class.
Classwork	Excellent Student was highly enthusiastic and demonstrated a great deal of effort. Work was complete and on time.	Good Student spent a considerable time on his/her work and demonstrated enthusiasm and effort.	Fair Student spent a satisfactory time on his/her work and demonstrated a satisfactory amount of effort.	Poor Student spent limited time on his/her work and demonstrated a limited amount of effort. Work is not complete.
