Student cannot safetly lift/secure vehicle or attempts to lift a vehicle in an unsafe manner.
Fair
Student safetly lifts and lowers vehicle, but needs excessive prompting. Student may have placed loose wheels in an inappropriate location or left tools or other objects in work area or on vehicle.
Good
Student safetly raised, supported, and lowered vehicle with little or no outside assistance or guidance.
Wheel removal/installation
Poor
Student damages/scratches wheel or related trim during removal or installation. Wheels are not correctly installed, torqued, or left loose.
Fair
Student removes/installs wheels. May have used improper torque sequence or method
Good
Student successfully removes/installs wheels with little or no guidance. No damage to wheels or related trim, proper torque methods, specs, and sequence used.
Tire mount/balance
Poor
Student does not pocess necessary knowledge and understanding of equipment. Cannot safetly or successfully mount and balance tire on wheel
Fair
Student pocesses fair knowledge of equipment, but needs moderate outside instruction to complete task
Good
Student successfully mounts and balances tire on wheel with little or no outside instruction or prompting.
