Badminton Summative Assessment Badminton Class participated in a Badminton unit which mostly consisted of doubles game play. Emphasis was placed on serving, game rules, strategy and shot variety. Serve	No Attempt Never was able to successfully serve.	Needs Improvement Sometimes was successful in serving underhand, but not consistently.	Skilled Often was consistently successful in serving underhand.	Accomplished Almost always was successful in serving with the official backhand serve.
Game Play	No Attempt Never knew the rules and never was in a ready position for receiving.	Needs Improvement Sometimes knew the rules and was in a ready position on defense.	Skilled Often demonstrated an understanding of the rules and was mostly in a ready position on defense.	Accomplished Almost always understood the rules of the game and was in a ready position for receiving most of the time.
Shot Variety	No Attempt Never mixed up shots during game play.	Needs Improvement Sometimes mixed up shots during game play.	Skilled Often mixed up shots during game play and showed an ability to move the defense around.	Accomplished Almost always mixed up shots during game play and showed an ability to move the defense around.
