Portrait Photo collage Students will take a portrait photo of themselves and they will collage six extra photography elements into the project on PIXLR. Rubric Code: L22AX5C By DelRay11 Draft Public Rubric Subject: Arts and Design Type: Project Grade Levels: 9-12

Portrait Photo Collage
	Fair 8 pts	Good 10 pts	Excellent 12 pts
Portrait photo	Fair Portrait photo doesn't show details and is not in focus on the finished piece. Photo was made small in the collage.	Good Student took a portrait photo that fulfills the assignment requirement.	Excellent Student took a dynamic portrait photo of themselves. Photo is in focus, interesting, and shows facial details.
Six added photo elements	Fair Less than three photos are present in the project. Photos selected are random.	Good student did not meet photo requirement. Better photos could have been selected to add to the overall collage. Some photos are not meaningful to the project.	Excellent Students included portrait photo and six other images into finished project. The added photos were meaningful and dynamic to the overall design of the project.
Editing	Fair No editing is evident in project. Not all seven images are visible in finished project.	Good Student over edited their collage in some areas and project became unorganized. Student could have added more effects in editing in some areas of project.	Excellent Student used editing in a creative way to enhance the collage.
Composition	Fair Images look unorganized throughout the project.	Good Student places images in random areas of project. The design looks scattered.	Excellent Student arranged portrait and added images in an excellent composition to make the collage dynamic and meaningful
Direction & Time	Fair Students didn't follow instructions for the collage and did not use class time to work at all.	Good Student could have used class time better, collage needed some extra time into editing.	Excellent Student used class time to work efficiently on project. Finished project and followed instructions.
