Clarity and Understanding This includes evidence of a plan to the project. Clear and correct grammar.	Needs Improvement Seems all over the place. Hard to read due to many grammatical and technical errors. Shows minimal understanding of the decade.	Proficient Clearly has some direction including an actual plan. Some grammatical and technical errors that make it difficult to follow at times. Shows a good understanding of the decade.	Exemplary Has a well thought out plan that is turned in and is followed perfectly. Almost or no grammatical or technical errors. Shows an exemplary understanding of the decade.
Originality Uniqueness and creativity of the project.	Needs Improvement Uses almost no creativity or imagery in the project. Pretty straightforward and is robotic in a sense.	Proficient Has some images to match the decade. Offers a creative look at the assessment and can be clearly seen as original, creative thought from the student.	Exemplary Lots of images and representations for the decade. Entire project is a unique and creative take on the assessment.
