Op Art Octahedron
	Fair 6 pts	Good 8 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Design	Fair Student did not plan out the design of the piece. Patterns and Lines do not match, and the composition looks careless.	Good Designs are good, Student chose one design to repeat on the entire piece.	Excellent Creative and intricate designs were planned out and drawn on the project to enhance the look of the overall piece.
Op Art patterns	Fair There are no 3D shapes and lines. Patterns are simple and flat.	Good Op Art has a few indications of 3D shapes and lines, but still looks flat and plain.	Excellent Patterns, lines, and shapes are bold and 3D. The design has an optical illusion to the finished piece.
Craftsmanship	Fair Student did not draw lines carefully or color their design neatly. A ruler should have been used when drawing some parts of the design.	Good A few mistakes are evident in the project. Some lines do match up, but overall still a very well done piece.	Excellent Rulers were used when necessary, lines were drawn carefully, and pens and sharpies were used in a neat and creative way. The project is very clean.
Assembly of Octahedron	Fair Glue is messy and showing, Scoring was done incorrectly, and the project doesn't fit together.	Good There are a few gaps showing in the assembly. The scoring wasn't entirely straight.	Excellent Scoring is clean and straight, triangles align very well, and the tabs are glued together neatly.
Time	Fair Student wasted class time, and did not accomplish as much work as they could be most days.	Good Student used class time well.	Excellent Student had excellent use of class time and went above and beyond for the completion of their project.
