Cooking Demonstration Cooking Demonstration Student will give a 5-7 minute cooking demonstration in Spanish. All ingredients, uninstalls, and cookware will be provided by the student unless otherwise requested in writing 2 days in advance. All ingredients used must be nut and gluten free. A list of ingredients and English recipe must be pre-approved before the demonstration date. Cooking Demonstration
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts
Seriouness	Excellent Student took the project seriously. The theme was properly used. Body language was appropriate and laughter adequate. The inclusion of details were beyond the requirements.	Good Student took the project somewhat seriously. The theme was barely used. body language was somewhat appropriately. Barely meets the requirements.	Fair Lack of seriousness. The theme was not used correctly, too much laughter and inappropriate jokes. Careless work, does not meet all the requirements.
Vocabulary	Excellent Project spoken entirely in Spanish. The students used the targeted vocabulary according to the theme.	Good Project spoken in Spanish mostly with a couple of words in English. The students used some of the targeted vocabulary according to the theme.	Fair Project spoken in Spanish with many words in English. The students did not use the targeted vocabulary according to the theme.
Diction	Excellent All Spanish words are well pronounced and understandable. Communication flows clearly and smoothly.	Good Some Spanish words are mispronounced and inaudible. Communication flows somewhat clearly and not very smoothly.	Fair Many Spanish words are mispronounced and inaudible. Poor flow of communication.
Grammar	Excellent Excellent ability to structure sentences correctly.	Good Good ability to structure sentences correctly.	Fair Poor sentence structure.
Sequencing	Excellent Demonstration followed appropriate sequencing according to the recipe provided prior to said demonstration. Sequencing words were used as needed.	Good Demonstration somewhat followed appropriate sequencing according to the recipe provided. Some steps were forgotten or shown out of order. Some sequencing words were used.	Fair Demonstration did not follow any sort of sequencing according to the recipe. Minimal sequencing words were used.
Individual student participation	Excellent Student was actively engaged in the research, writing, and participation in the demonstration.	Good Student was somewhat engaged in the research, writing, and/or participation in the demonstration.	Fair Student was minimally engaged in the research, writing, and/or participation in the demonstration.
