Correctly spells words with word patterns, such as lion, er, ly, etc.)

Correctly spells words at the IEP goal reading level.
Sentence Sense

Level 1: Basic

Writes at least one sentence that can be understood by the reader.
Level 2: Basic Competency

Writes at least 2-3 sentences that can be understood by the reader.
Level 3: Full Competency

Writes at least a paragraph that can be understood by the reader.
Level 4: Exceeds Expectations

Complete a function writing assignment, such as a postcard, letter, etc.) that can be understood by the reader.
