Content	Excellent The content includes a clear statement of the overall learning journal and is creative, compelling and clearly written.	Good The content gives an indication of the overall learning journal and is clearly written.	Fair The content lacks a central theme, clear point of view and logical sequence of information.
Technical -Visual	Excellent Visuals planned create a distinct atmosphere or tone that matches different parts of the learning journal. Image choice is very consistent.	Good An attempt was made to use visuals to create an atmosphere/tone but more work is needed. Image choice is logical.	Fair Little or no attempt to use visuals to create an appropriate atmosphere/tone. Image choice is unclear.
Technical - Voice	Excellent The words tell about the learning journal in a clear and efficient way. The learning journal helps the audience really "get into" the story.	Good The words tell about the learning journal. The story line does not keep the audience consistently engaged.	Fair No attempt to match the text to the images, story line or the audience.
