1)Ask pt to scoot to edge of chair, ensuring knees together and feet under them, their hands on arm rests
2)Place your arms under pt's armpits & hands on upper back
3)Count to 3, therapist keep back straight, ask them to push off arm rests, stand up straight (no twist)
4)communicate to shuffle feet, until pt's back is facing table, ask for them to sit, therapist keeps back straight & bends knees
