Spanish Oral /Visual presentation- La Casa 
Students use the presentational mode to describe their home, it's rooms, furniture and family in Spanish . ( Describe in detail where they live, their ages, personalities and likes/dislikes. Students should know what they are saying. Students do not use notes when presenting. An oral recording using the recorder app on the ipads will be done and the recording uploaded to their google document.

La Pronunciación

Student has followed the outline and used all of the required vocabulary from chapters 1-3./ ( the lesson plan, family descriptions, age, hair, eye, personality, rooms, color, size, the verb Haber- Hay, definite and indefinite articles, una, un, la, el, three activities in each room.

Almost all vowels are mispronounced. Frequent misprounications of vocab words. Student reads the material from notecards. Student seems to be missing vocabulary words

Some mispronunciations of vocabulary words. Vowels are not always clear. Student does not appear to know the material as well as he/she should. Student often looks down at notes and or does not remember and mispronounces basic words such as Hay, tiene, furniture and room names.
Bueno

Pronunciation of required vocabulary, items in the house, use of Hay is clear. Vocabulary and words are mostly pronounced correctly. Student knows fairly well what he/she is saying, although from time to time may look down for reference.

Pronunciation of all required vocabulary is crisp and clear. Vocabulary words are pronounced correctly. Accent is attempted. Students knows extremely well what he/she is saying.Student does not appear to use notes
La Fluídez/flow

The student uses with ease various forms of the verb tener ( eyes, hair) family description. The student is able to easily transfer to the use of Hay and Ser to describe the rooms in the House and an ecosystem. The student presents briefly and with ease their overall square footage and the reduction process. The student conjugates the various activities discussed with clarity and the correct verb conjugation. ( correct use of the verb - Haber- Hay

The script was not memorized. It appears that the student is having difficulty with the flow of the presentation.

Hesitations when speaking. Needs more preparation. Student has the right idea with the required elements, but there appear to be gaps in preparation visually and orally. Student may forget a variety of furniture, rooms and or activities. Student misses at least 7 components of the task.

Some hesitations when speaking. Assignment shows solid preparation.Although a few minor gaps in the flow of the visual /oral project exist. The student is generally well prepared and he/she has a vision of how to present the project.

No hesitations while speaking. Assignment shows excellent preparation.The student has obviously practiced well in advance of the due date and displays a high level of effort with regards to the flow of the project.
La Gramatica/Vocabulario

Description of House- estructuras- hay, tiene, ( there are) ( it has) description or size and colors of the room. Use of detailed furniture in each room. At least 5 rooms. location of the house , street, city or town. Ser, Haber,and Tener are also employed at least three times. A description of the style of the House and Model is present. Verbs may include : estudiar, mirar, ver, trabajar, poner, dormir, preparar, cepillarse, usar, lavar, limpiar , etc...me ducho, Hago la tarea, Estudio ( yo)

Consistent correct use of grammar functions and targeted structures. All elements of the outline are expressed. palabras . Student uses ir + a, tener que, tiene and Hay ( there is, there are). At least three activities per room are correctly conjugated and at times students may use more detailed information, including colors.
Visual

A 5 room house, well constructed, people, created or pre-made with a lifestyle displayed within the home. Spanish elements of design incorporated.An ecosystem is incorporated and a brief description follows. An ecosystem and energy panels may be present.

limited aspects of the construction of the house. Not visually appealing. Poor use of prep time in construction the on-line version of the real life version of the house. Missing some element of the visual presentation. 10 0r more errors or gaps

House has some positive aspects. Meets the 5 room requirement. Displays some effort with regards to furniture, colors and the labeling of such elements. Family members are also incorporated into the visual aspect. The House contains at least two elements of Spanish design throughout. 5-7 errors

The student has at least 5 rooms and 3 elements of Spanish design, but he/she may not know the entire script in Spanish. These may be areas the student attempts to clarify in Spanish and or may be missing 2 components. A few errors may occurr with the visual presentation, but it is visually appealing and shows a solid effort.

Fabulous details of the house 5 rooms or more showing multiple family members and or/fewer with descriptions of those living outside the home . Great detail is shown in the visual presentation. The three elements of Spanish design are present throughout the house. Only 1-3 errors.

The students has followed all of the written and spoken requirements of the project. The Math Scale has been worked out and presented along with a description of the four family members and the activities they each participate in. In addition, the student has an ecosystem. The student has described the three elements of Spanish style.

Students are missing steps in presenting the Math Scale. Student is missing elements of Spanish design. The student is missing the ecosystem and / or the description of said ecosystem. The student has skipped at least two components and /or cannot finish speaking about at least two of the components. STudent has not turned in the several drafts done and the final typed copy. Corrections were not made to the corrected final copy.

Student presents some of the Math Scale steps in a somewhat organized fashion. Other elements of design may be missing. The student may have not turned in a rough copy of the written description of the characters in their presentation. Multiple grammatical errors may be present. The student may not have made corrections to the final typed copy, as corrected by the teacher.

Students have most all of the elements well covered throughout their 5 room house. Although, a few errors may take place, most of the requirements of the project have been met. Errors in grammar may be present. Minor errors in Cultural significance may take place. The student has handed in all rough copies. The students has correctly conjugated a variety of verbs from the family descriptions to the rooms, the ecosystem and the activities.

Great detail is shown in the presentation of this project. The student has presented with great attention to detail and appears to have followed each step, including submission of rough copies.
