Oral/Display Report
You will be choosing a fish. I will then be needing you to make a 3-D model of that fish and set up a display board showing; where it is in the food chain, where it can be found, how it has adapted, and 20 facts on it. Then you will give a short oral report on why you have chosen that fish as well as your opinion towards it's endangerment status.

3-D Model

Great

The 3-D model has been constructed to stand on its own, all of the sections of the fish have been labeled, and the audience can visibly and simply understand how the fish looks in real life.
Good

The 3-D model has been constructed with a weak base but is mostly labeled although the audience is having slight difficulty understanding how the fish would function in real life.
Bad

The 3-D model has been constructed so poorly it is falling apart, its either labeled poorly or not labeled at all, and it is very difficult for the audience to picture the fish functioning in real life.
Display Board Appearance

Great

The display board is big enough for everyone to see, can be read easily by the audience and has been sectioned off neatly as well as clearly, and has plenty of pictures(all pics are captioned).
Good

The display board is large enough for most people to see, can be read somewhat easily and has been sectioned off neatly and clearly, and has a neutral amount of pictures(half of the pics are captioned).
Bad

The display board is small and difficult to see, audience is having trouble reading the board, either the board hasn't been sectioned off or has been done sloppy. There are almost no pictures, and the few of them don't have any captions.
Display Board Information

Great

The audience can clearly see where your fish is on the food chain, you visually show where in the world you can find this fish, and if in more than one area, all the areas, you also show how it has adapted through pictures, and you neatly show 20 facts on your fish somewhere on your display board.
Good

The audience is having trouble figuring out where in the food chain your fish is at, audience cannot visually see where in the world you fish is located, it's hard to see how it has adapted, and the 20 facts are either not good or not done.
Bad

The audience can not really see nor understand where your fish is in the food chain, you didn't really show where they can be found, and the audience didn't learn anything about the adaptation, as well as your 20 facts were not complete.
Oral Report

Great

You clearly explain every reason you thought it would be cool to learn more about your fish. You explain whether or not your fish is endangered, then explain how you feel about that.
Good

You explain about 2 reasons why you thought it would be cool to learn more about your fish. You sort of told the audience if your fish was endangered but you didn't explain how you feel about that.
Bad

You don't explain why you wanted to learn more about your fish. You don't explain whether or not you fish is endangered, and you don't explain how you feel about that.
