Job Completion	EXC The projects layout, design, finish, and overall appearance was excellent. No visible sanding or cut marks.	ACH One of the following criteria needs improvement. (layout, design, finish or overall appearance). Small sanding marks are visible.	DEV 2 or more of the following criteria needs improvement. (layout, , finish or overall appearance. Large sanding marks or small cut marks are visible.	BEG The project was complete but had less then satisfactory on layout, design, finish or overall appearance. Large cut marks are visible. Large gouges made with chisel.
Time Management	EXC Routinely used time well throughout the project to get the job done on time.	ACH Used time fairly well throughout the project.	DEV Procrastinated somewhat but did get the job done on time.	BEG Was unable to adequately meet timeline due to frequent off task behaviour.
Application of Safety Practices	EXC Student consitently followed all safety rules.	ACH Student followed most safety rules, Had to be reminded of them.	DEV Student attempted to follow safety rules but failed to meet several. Had to be reminded continuously.	BEG Student failed to follow a significant number of safety rules. Student did not complete tasks without safety reminders.
Tool Use	EXC Student used all tools required safely and was able to choose required tools with minimal guidance.	ACH Student used tools safely and needed some guidance when choosing required tools.	DEV Student required reminders about safety procedures, and guidance for choosing correct tool for job.	BEG Student needed constant instruction on which tools to use and many reminders of safety rules.
