Contribute Original Post	Poor and absent Makes no original posting.	Fair but showed up Makes a token response which indicates either a light skimming of the material or brings into question whether the assignments were read or absorbed.	Good but incomplete makes a good original post that reflects reading all the previously assigned readings.	Excellent Leaders Makes one or more articulate, well crafted response that advances the conversation while demonstrating a through review of the reading assignments.
Responds to Others' posts	Poor and absent Makes extremely brief or no responses to other student's queries.	Fair but showed up Gives a brief response equivalent to saying "ditto" which shows signs of conversational engagement but does not promote robust dialogue to flourish.	Good but incomplete Responds politely with supportive comment or offers validation or encouragement. Students' comments may bring additional perspectives that spur deeper reflections.
