Content 20 %	Excellent Excellent presentations are characterized by clear and concise language, with a logical progression of ideas. All ideas presented are accurate and complete.	Good Good presentations are characterized by a logical progression of ideas, but might be subject to unnecessary length or details.	Fair Fair presentations are characterized by vagueness in conveying the point of the topic. Little to no sense of purpose and information show some understanding of the topic.	Poor Poor presentations are characterized by lacking a clear point with no logical sequence of information. There is a limited understanding of the topic and it is not at all accurate.
Design 40 %	Excellent Excellent presentations have a visually appealing layout that supports the overall message. They also have an appropriate use of a background and theme. Transitions can be used to enhance the presentations without distraction. Plenty of pictures and visual aides are used in the project.	Good Good presentations have a pleasant layout and appropriate background. Transitions are used appropriately and effectively, but could be less distracting. A good amount of visual aides are used in the project.	Fair Fair presentations have a layout that appears to be cluttered or busy.Transitions and animation are often distracting. Either the background is distracting or there are large amounts of blank space. Some visual aides are used in the project.	Poor Poor presentations have a layout that is cluttered and confusing. Transitions and animations are highly distracting. Large gaps are present, with a distracting background. No visual aides are used in the final project.
Presentation 30 %	Excellent Excellent presentations add a great amount of information besides what is on the slides. Students show interest and enthusiasm, as well as speak with a clear voice with appropriate volume. Minimal verbal fillers.	Good Good presentations add some information besides what is on the slides. Students show a general interest in the topic and speak clearly most of the time. Verbal fillers are present, but not distracting.	Fair Fair presentations add little information besides what is on the slides. Students show little enthusiasm or interest in their topic. Student needs to speak a little louder/softer and/or frequently uses verbal fillers.	Poor Poor presentations do not add information besides what is on the slides. Students do not show interest in presentation. Student cannot be understood and constantly uses verbal fillers.
Spelling and Grammar 10 %	Excellent Excellent presentations have no spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors.	Good Good presentations show some errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors on a grade appropriate level.	Fair Fair presentations have 3-5 errors that exist in the text.	Poor Poor presentations have more than 5 errors existing in the text.
