Art Project Rubric For individual and group projects assesment in the Art class.

Follows instructions Instructions must be specified by the teacher in advance. Students have to complete all the steps and use the suggested materials and techniques.	VERY GOOD Follows directions during all the process. Great attention to detail throughout artwork.	GOOD Follow the directions most of the time. Artwork contains essential details.	FAIR Partially follows directions. Incomplete or inconsistent detail within artwork.	NEEDS TO IMPROVE Rarely follows directions. Minimal attention to detail.
Production quality Final project has to be clean and neat. The same with the working area and the tools/materials used during the creative process.	VERY GOOD The artwork is clean, as well as the working area and the tools. Outstanding effort to have an neat display.	GOOD Average effort and neatness. A few spots on the paper/display. Tools and desk lightly unclean.	FAIR Satisfactory effort and neatness. Some spots or crumpled paper (or other material). Tools and desk unclean.	NEEDS TO IMPROVE Insufficient effort and neatness. A lot of spots or broken/crumbled paper (or other material). Tools and desk highly unclean.
