Whole Body Listening	Novice Requires constant adult prompts and reminders to use whole body listening.	Emerging Uses whole body listening(eyes, ears, mouth, hand, feet, bottom) to show they are listening during routines or small group. Adult prompts needed often	Proficient Consistent use of whole body listening across settings. Minimal adult cues.	Mastered Uses whole body listening to others in a manner consistent with the peer group across settings. Adult only cues or reminds at a rate similar to others.
Expected Reactions	Novice Typically over-reacts or under-reacts to peers. Needs full support from adults to react in expected manner.	Emerging Inconsistent responses and reactions to peers. Moderate adult cues needed.	Proficient Somewhat consistent responses to peers depending on the activity. Minimal adult cues needed.	Mastered Demonstrates responses and reactions to peers in a manner consistent with peer group. Adult cues similar to others in the setting.
Identify own emotions	Novice Does not identify any emotions in self.	Emerging Able to identify 1-2 emotions in self.	Proficient Labels own emotions with minimal adult support.	Mastered Understands and talks about emotions independently.
