Listening & Responding	Clearly Unsatisfactory Student unable to listen to and respond to questions, or follow the follow of the panel discussion.	Satisfactory Student showing evidence of following the conversation; however, is clearly still lacking comprehension (as evinced by faulty answers).	Good Student is listening and responding. Shows signs of tracking the conversation and adds valuable points in a timely fashion.	Meeting Expectations Student is listening and responding with no difficulty.	Exceeding Expectations Exceptional listening and responding.
Body Posture & Eye Contact	Clearly Unsatisfactory Low energy body posture/ only reading notes; lack of confidence.	Satisfactory Little eye contact; to much reading of notes; minimal eye contact while speaking.	Good Body is well postured, student is making eye contact while speaking and only checking notes occasionally.	Meeting Expectations Upright, energetic body posture; plenty of eye contact while speaking; rarely checks notes.	Exceeding Expectations Upright, energetic body posture; constant eye contact and engagement; almost never uses notes.
Clarity of Speech	Clearly Unsatisfactory Student's voice is not clear, muffled or seriously lacking articulation.	Satisfactory Student's voice is unclear, lacking volume and articulation.	Good Student's voice can be heard, but some words are unclear. Relatively good pronunciation.	Meeting Expectations Student's voice is clear, pronunciation is accurate with few errors. Articulate speaker.	Exceeding Expectations Student's voice is very clear; pronunciation errors are non-existent; oratorial speaker.
Content of Answers	Clearly Unsatisfactory Answers lacked support, logic or connection.	Satisfactory Answers were weak, with little support.	Good Answer did defend a stance, with evidence, logic and direction.	Meeting Expectations Answer defends a clear stance with logic, support and creativity.	Exceeding Expectations Excellent defence of a stance. Logical and creative support was employed.
Oral Citations	Clearly Unsatisfactory No oral citations were used to support ideas.	Satisfactory 1-2 oral citations were utilized.	Good 3-4 oral citations were used.	Meeting Expectations 5 oral citations were implemented.	Exceeding Expectations More than 5 oral citations were activated.
