Fables Through Storytelling

Students will present a fable in groups of 3-4 trying to be heard and display a personality that fits my puppet character. The class will then consider a possible theme for the fable.

character voice	Not Quite My puppet voice could not be heard by many students.	Almost there My puppet's voice could be heard by some students.	Well Done My puppet voice could be heard by everyone in the room all the time.
puppet personality	Not Quite My puppet did not have much personality to help express the story.	Almost there My puppet personality was active and interesting enough to help my class understand the story most of the time.	Well Done My puppet ROCKED! It really moved the story forward all the time!
theme	Not Quite I have very little clue what the theme might be.	Almost there I can choose a few themes from our theme list that might be right for my fable.	Well Done Are you kidding? I totally understand the theme of my fable. TOTALLY!
