Understanding	1 Numerous errors when solving the problem	2 Shows an understanding of how to do the math problem but does not fully understand.	3 Finds all parts of the solution. Shows a full understanding of the problem.
Participation	1 Did not participate	2 Used some math language, did not communicate well to peers. Needs to work on explaining answers.	3 Student fully participated with their group. Students gave helpful and thoughtful answers to their peers.
Reflecting	1 Does not show any self-reflection.	2 Shows some reflection of the problem solving process, but needs to focus on improving.	3 Shows self-reflection of how the problem was solved.
