Multiple Choice Items	Poor 3 or more items are missing from the requirements.	Fair 1 or 2 items are missing from the requirements.	Good Stem consists of self-contained question or problem. Stem is stated positively. Length of alternatives doesn't provide clues. Correct answers are randomly assigned. Formatting of questions is consistent (direct question or incomplete statement). Punctuation of questions is consistent. Directions are clear.
Matching	Poor 3 or more items are missing from the requirements.	Fair 1 or 2 items are missing from the requirements.	Good Lists are homogeneous. Lists are brief with shorter words/phrases on the right. More responses than premises are used. Responses are ordered logically. Directions are clear. All premises and responses are on a single page.
